Sub Sonar

A Global Game Jam 18 project I finished after way too long.

Sub Sonar is a top-down  deep-sea action exploration game where you're tasked with finding a hidden treasure and bringing it back to HQ.  You control a submarine armed with a light and a slow, but heavy hitting sonar cannon.

Main gimmick of the game is the sonar/radar mechanic where your vision is heavily limited. Expect many surprises.

In your time with Sub Sonar you'll encounter:

- 2 enemies with 3 variations, each with their own flavour

- A roaming boss with loads of missiles to share with you

- A randomly generated seascape

Originally I was supposed to polish it right after the jam, but ended up working on it on and off for a while and after many added features and bits and bobs it's finally here.
